My growing Baby..
Is it possible that summer is coming to an end? Signs of fall are beginning to show........entirely too soon for me! This time I have a daughter to enjoy it with..oh-so-much better than the big pregnant stomach!!
Chloe is 7 and a half months old and has 3 teeth! Still not crawling but does get to places somehow. She loves to jabber up a storm and says "dada" while I wish she would say "mama"
We had a very lovely time having my cousin Eleanor, her husband Tim and their sweet lil boy Dustin here over Sun. evening thru Mon. afternoon. It was the first time they visited us since we were married. Now we just need to work on the other cousins yet!
Sat. and Tue. we had corn day w/ the Beachy family ...lots of work, but lots of laughter & fun and memories made. I'm glad it's done and out of the way for another year!
We're looking forward to having my brother Anson be with us a few days in Sept. before he heads on home to Paraguay after being in the States for 17 months. Im sure everyone is ready to have him back.
Her hair have grown long ennough that I can actually put it in a tiny pony tail!

musings
This blog is long overdated..I had tried several ones but for some reason it got deleted before it was posted and I guess I was too frustrated to try again...
We took a trip to Ohio in May. I was privileged to be in Plain City for Sun-Thur. and then my Honey joined me and we spent the weekend in Hicksville. It was soo Awesome seeing my "family" again and time went by way too quickly...altho it was sad not to have my husband with me.

Learning how to sit
Bonding with her Uncle Jason..my brother. I was very happy to be able to spend a few days with him...he flew in that Tuesday. He's spending the summer in the States..working in Oregon with my other brother Anson...who by the way is having his farewell from Hillcrest this weekend!
She has learned how to sit..yaay! and found my flops more interesting than her toys.
Oh yeah she'll start young!
Annnd this is her first mess...my fault for giving her the can to play with..she flung it to the floor and this is the result!

Another month just slipped by! It's just the most beautiful time of year...and Im dismayed how fast it goes. Here are a few pics explaining what we've been up to the last few weekends! We were delighted to have Kevin, Rhoda and cute Talia here over last weekend! We spent Sat. in DC ..it was cloudy and a bit rainy but we had fun and our babies were really good...a huge relief!!

3 months...
Well I guess I don't update very often ... life as a mom sure keeps me busy! we didn't escape all the sickness this winter like i had hoped. but thankfully we are on the mend..except for Chloe just starting another cold
Spring is def. here, the grass is turning green, trees are buding, I planted pansies, and the tulips are looking very promising....Im soo excited!!!! So looking forward to a spring I can enjoy outside again...hoping Chloe will too
Yest. I took her to Sears to get her 3mo. pictures taken....didn't go to fabulous beings they were overbooked and only one person working...so Chloe's happiness and paitence quite vanished when her turn finally came...at least we had 2 good shots (looking on the bright side) She usually does really good for me when Im out shopping but once we get home she wont sleep or settle unless I sit there an hold her for hours....not kidding! Oh well you get the good w/ the not so good huh?
I'm not sure I mentioned before but my sister is expecting.....yaaaay!!! Im soo excited...Chloe's going to have another cousin! She's due Sept. 1st. we were married 5 mo apart and now our kids will be 8 mo apart. We are def. hoping we can make a trip to Paraguay sometime end of this year.

Chloe..
Today Chloe is two months old..........and this time I managed to take some pics on the date
She's soo much fun these days...smiling and cooing,...kicking her legs and waving her arms are some of her hobbies...oh and bathtime is a total highlight! The cute dress came in the mail yest. just in time....compliments from my cousin Wanda.It's so nice to have the temp. in the 60ies... maybe spring isn't too far off anymore...Im soo so ready to see green again!! My dear friend Andrea stopped in to visit yest. and she brought me this beautiful potted tulip...I felt so blessed and inspired! Friends......what joy they bring!!
